Hello! I’m Travis S. Moses, founder of Mountain View Advocates, LLC. As a Non-Attorney Special Education Advocate, my mission is to support and guide families through the often complex and challenging landscape of special education. My role is to ensure that your child’s rights are protected and that they receive the educational services they deserve to achieve positive outcomes.

My journey into advocacy began at birth. I have lived with a visual impairment all my life and became legally blind at the age of 23. Throughout my educational journey, I faced numerous challenges, particularly during my university years. It was a struggle, often marked by the need to fight for the accommodations that were my right. At one point, I had to sue the university to ensure that both I and other students received the support we were entitled to. These experiences have deeply shaped my commitment to advocacy.

At Mountain View Advocates, we believe that every child deserves an education that meets their unique needs. My personal experiences have instilled in me a profound understanding of the hurdles that children with disabilities and their families face. I know what it means to carry someone’s burden, and I am dedicated to walking alongside you through the IEP process.

Our services include advising and educating parents about their rights, supporting them at every stage of their child’s education, and guiding the IEP Team to provide all the services required under federal law. I am here to ensure that your child receives the individualized support they need to thrive academically and personally.

My goal is not only to advocate for your child’s educational needs but also to empower you as a parent. I will provide you with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the education system confidently. Together, we can create an IEP that truly meets your child’s needs and ensures their success.
